The Girl from the Other Side (1-3) - Book Review

In a land far away, there were two kingdoms: the Outside, where twisted beasts roamed that could curse with a touch, and the Inside, where humans lived in safety and peace. The girl and the beast should never have met, but when they do, a quiet fairytale begins. This is a story of two people–one human, one inhuman–who linger in the hazy twilight that separates night from day.

Categories: Fiction, Manga, Fantasy, Graphic novel, Supernatural, and Young Adult.

I got those books honestly for the artwork itself and expecting it to be a boring story. however, I only found those 3 volumes of the series that are available and translated so reviewing only the 3 volumes I’ve read.

The artwork and the storyline fit so poetically together, that the scenes and frames felt like I was watching an anime. I love how the story follows both of the main character’s perspectives and how the teacher cares for the little girl so much is so weirdly amazing.

Overall, it got me feeling many feelings all at once which makes me wish that I had the whole series to read!

My rating will be 5/5 ⭐️
