Monthly Reads: March 2021

Hello fellow reader, it is March’s monthly reads post!

Hope everyone is healthy and safe <3, but alas, another month has passed and we survived by reading books.

although, March was a month filled with assignments and homework to be done and submitted - I got to finish at least two books!

Run, Rebel by Manjeet Mann

Categories: Contemporary, Young Adult, Fiction & Verse Novel.

‘Running is a quiet rebellion. But Amber wants so much more - and she’s ready to fight for it.’

I do not usually read contemporary verse novels but this book is so powerfully meaningful that it just hits you right and deserves a read!

I have already reviewed and posted about this book, click here to read my review.

⭐3.5/5

Caraval (Caraval #1 of Caraval trilogy) by Stephanie Garber

Categories: Young Adult, Fiction, Fantasy & Adventure.

‘Scarlett Dragna has never left the tiny island where she and her sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval—the faraway, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show—are over.’

Creepy settings with a touch of magic are what I live for! (my full review of this book will be posted when I have completed the whole trilogy)

⭐4.5/5

Aside from books, I have finished one assignment while currently working on the second as I try to squeeze in a few minutes to read the sequel of Caraval (Legendary).

In summary, this month has been busy with the university as I do not have much to add but I am sure so as everyone else is also busy with school so I wish you all good luck and God bless.

Thank you for reading and please stay safe, readers!
