"Once upon a time...
In a land far away, there were two kingdoms: the Outside, where twisted beasts roamed that could curse with a touch, and the Inside, where humans lived in safety and peace. The girl and the beast should never have met, but when they do, a quiet fairytale begins.
This is a story of two people - one human, one inhuman - who linger in the hazy twilight that separates night from day."

The artwork and the storyline fit so poetically together that the scenes and frames felt like I was watching an anime. I love how the story follows both of the main characters’ perspectives, and how the teacher cares for the little girl so much is so weirdly amazing.
The backstory of both characters is just ... ugh .. it got me sobbing. Yet so many questions are left unanswered. Plot twist - more like soul twist.
The last two volumes of the series left me with a bittersweet feeling and in pain. Because there’s still no real sense of closure.
The curse remains unbroken, and there’s no indication of whether it can ever be undone.
Although there is a happy ending for the characters, there is no full closure about the curse, its nature, and the Outsiders; the narrative just fades into ambiguity.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A beautiful series overall, but this final instalment feels like a door left half-open, with too many questions still lingering on the other side. The unique art style, muted colours and undefined lines create a watercolour-like effect that enhances its Gothic European aesthetic. This approach mirrors the manga's original tone, balancing production quality with artistic expression.
