The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho & translated by Margaret Jull Costa
How do we find the courage to always be true to ourselves—even if we are unsure of whom we are?
That is the central question of international bestselling author Paulo Coelho’s profound new work, The Witch of Portobello. It is the story of a mysterious woman named Athena, told by the many who knew her well—or hardly at all.
Categories: Fiction, Philosophy, and Spirituality.
This is the second book from Paulo that I have read and to be completely honest - I do not remember even getting this book as well as it’s not a book that I would also buy for the cover and actually, I expected it to be as good as the alchemist but it wasn’t even close to it. The story did not grab my interest or my attention as how a book should, a few points in the book that got me confused and lost but I read through it till the end.
Overall, I get the concept of this book although it wasn’t put together perfectly.
My rating will be 2.5/5 ⭐️
